Audiobrain’s Founder & CEO Audrey Arbeeny was featured in two sessions at the Project Voice conference in Chattanooga! Sonic Branding: The Essence of Voice-First Marketing focused on the importance of brand-alignment in voice-enabled technology and Voice and Sound: Audio Advancements in Emerging Healthcare Technologies featured Audrey’s insights into the role of sound in the healthcare space, from voice-assisted devices to wearable products, VR, and more.

 Audrey emphasized the value of engaging, brand-aligned audio in today’s voice-first, sound-first environment and discussed how new technologies are leveraging sound to enhance user experiences in a variety of products. Audiobrain Founder & CEO Presents Fall Master Class at SVA

Earlier this month Audiobrain Founder & CEO Audrey Arbeeny presented her fall semester master class at School of Visual Arts (SVA) Masters in Branding Program for the 10th year.

Audrey introduced sonic branding to the students and talked about the importance of sound in the world of branding, emerging technologies and her personal journey building a successful sonic branding company 16 years ago. The students were amazing and many have reached out to continue learning about sonic branding. Audrey also mentors at SVA and enjoys learning from this unparalleled program and students. Audiobrain’s Founder & CEO Audrey Arbeeny participated in a great panel discussion entitled A Brand Strategy, In Audio during yesterday’s Power of Audio Summit, presented with NPR as part of this year’s Advertising Week conference in New York. The panel was moderated by President & CEO of National Public Media Gina Garrubbo and featured Audrey, HBO’s Sabrina Caluori, 360i’s Abbey Klaassen, and Spotify’s Bob Walker.

It was great to be a part of this panel and to have an entire day devoted to the incredible power of sound. Many thanks to our moderator Gina Garrubbo, the other great panelists, and to NPR for an amazing and informative Audio Summit!

This was a great opportunity to discuss the intersection of sound and wellness, a subject Audiobrain has promoted since the company’s founding.

Audrey and Dr. Teri discuss Audrey’s background in the field and her experience using sound to promote wellbeing and healing as well as recent work Audiobrain has conducted in the healthcare space, from surgical robotics to wearable fitness products like Pulson’s Counterpace device.

Audiobrain is featured in a great article in the September 2019 issue of The Atlantic, along with our collaborators at the Whirlpool Corporation. The article, Why Washing Machines Are Learning to Play the Harp discusses the crafting of branded sounds for machinery, appliances and and highlights Audiobrain's recent sonic branding & product sonifications for both the Whirlpool and KitchenAid Brands. It also gives a nice historical perspective on the sounds of machines in general.

Thank you to Laura Bliss from writing this timely, important piece and for shining a light on the value of intentional audio! The response has been huge, a great sign that “sound first” is truly front and center, and people do care about their sonic experiences.

This truly was a massive Audiobrain team effort from all our composers and producers!
